Description

A suspension clamp is a component used in industries such as electricity, telecommunications, and railways. Its primary purpose is to secure and connect cables, telephone lines, steel rails on railways, and ground wires.

It is used to fasten conductors onto insulator strings on straight-line poles, suspend lightning conductors from straight-line poles, and can also be used as a suspension fitting for supporting transposition conductors on transposition poles and for the secure attachment of jumpers on tension angle poles.
Suspension clamps offer advantages such as re-usability, ease of installation and removal, and excellent fastening performance, ensuring the safe and reliable use of these cables and ground wires. There are various types of suspension clamps, chosen based on different usage conditions.

They can be categorized by their appearance into two types: the old-style boat-shaped clamp and the pre-twisted suspension clamp. They can also be classified based on the pivot axis into central pivot, downward pivot, and upward pivot styles. Some of the model names include XGU/CGU, XG, XT, XTS, XGS, CL, CLS, XGH, CGH, XCS, XGF, XGS, and more.
