Description
There are many types of link fittings, and the L-type yoke plate is one of them. L-type yoke plates are used in overhead power lines to connect insulator strings and conductors.
L-type yoke plates can also be used to adjust the length of conductors. Since overhead power lines consist of multiple strands of conductors, link fittings are needed for adjustments. Insulator strings come in double and multiple units, and L-type yoke plates can be used for parallel connections of both double and multiple insulator strings, as well as for assembling insulator strings with two or multiple conductors. In high-voltage overhead power lines, there are many strings of insulators suspended from towers, and L-type yoke plates are used to string these insulators together and hang them on the towers.
